Michael C Hanus, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist and biomedical engineer, giving him a rare understanding of how radiation technology works. He graduated from the University of New Mexico, where he received a bachelor of science in electrical/biomedical engineering degree, and was also a member of the Division I varsity soccer team. He completed his medical studies at the University of Kansas and his radiation oncology residency at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Hanus is a respected specialist in the treatment of prostate cancer, head and neck cancer, breast cancer, and skin cancer. He has been named Castle-Connolly Top Doctor by Dr. John Connolly himself.
